I do LOVE a smoothie and I think this one is perfect for the festive season because of its hint of spice (and all things nice!)
Ingredients: This will make enough for 2 servings so half the ingredients if its just for one: 2 Bananas 500 ml milk (I use Oat or Almond milk - but you can use any) 1/4 nutmeg A handful of walnut halves Recipe: - Chop up the bananas and pop into your blender. - Grate the nutmeg. I normally buy a whole nutmeg. - Add the milk and walnuts. - Add a handful of ice if you want a cool smoothie. - Whizz in your blender et voila - a christmassy banana smoothie! Taste before serving as you may wish to add a bit more nutmeg. Another tip is to pop the bananas into the freezer for 4-8 hours. This will make the smoothie taste and feel creamier.
Serve up & enjoy immediately!
Bananas are great for you because they have a whole lot of goodies in them that the body needs. This includes vitamin B6 and manganese, vitamin C, potassium, dietary fiber, potassium, biotin, and copper.
